Administrative hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Patrol and dispatch operate around the clock. For a jail booking, contact the Marshall County Detention Center at 54 Judicial Drive, Benton, KY 42025, 270-527-4760, or roger.ford@marshallcountyky.gov. Detention office hours are weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The correct route depends on the record and custody stage:
- For a booking photo or arrest record, use the county search and records-request path.
- For a recent county booking, ask the detention center; for the arresting agency's report, ask that agency.
- For a countywide open-records request, use openrecordsrequest@marshallcountyky.gov or call 270-527-4795.
- For a current court disposition, contact the Marshall Circuit or District Court Clerk or use Kentucky CourtNet.
- For a sentenced state offender, use the Kentucky Department of Corrections KOOL search.
- For federal custody, use the Bureau of Prisons locator; immigration custody uses the separate ICE locator.
